Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff across assigned sites, ensuring quality service and timely delivery within budget.

You will hire, train, and develop staff; assign duties; review performance; and maintain strong customer relationships through regular site visits and effective communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level English communication skills (oral and written).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and active listening skills.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; resolve conflicts.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; conduct performance appraisals.
• Understand and promote company values and people culture.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness, and review quality of service.
• Prepare schedules and keep labor within budget.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training.
• Manage paperwork: timesheets, reports, training records.
• Communicate with employees and coach for success.
• Build client relationships by visiting accounts regularly.
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for new work opportunities and add-ons.
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed.
