Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff at multiple sites, ensuring consistent quality and timely service within the budget.

Qualifications

• Two years of management experience in a service-related industry, preferably janitorial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; customer service oriented.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; hiring decisions, performance appraisals, career development plans.
• Champion the company's values and people culture.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness, and review work for quality.
• Determine work procedures and schedules while keeping labor within budget.
• Conduct safety training and new hire orientation.
• Prepare time sheets, reports, and work orders.
• Coach employees and resolve workplace issues.
• Visit accounts to maintain relationships and monitor service quality.
• Resolve customer concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for additional work within contracts.
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed and recorded.
• Spend time at locations to support outcomes.
