Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff across assigned sites. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering quality service within budget and timelines, while leading teams and maintaining strong safety practices.

Responsibilities include hiring decisions, staff development, scheduling, and ensuring consistent, high-quality cleaning outcomes for our commercial facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; decisions on hiring, performance appraisals, and career development.
• Champion company principles, values and people culture.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness and quality of service at sites.
• Prepare schedules and manage labor budget for accounts.
• Conduct onboarding, safety and job training for hourly staff.
• Prepare time sheets, reports, work orders and equipment/supply orders.
