Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivered on time and within budget.

You will lead staffing, scheduling, safety training, and performance reviews, while building strong client relationships and ensuring adherence to quality controls. English fluency and strong leadership skills are essential to succeed in this service-driven role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Min. 2 years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; manage hiring, performance appraisals and development plans.
• Champion company values and people culture at the sites.
• Assign duties, inspect work for cleanliness, and review performance for quality.
• Create work procedures and schedules to stay within labor budgets.
• Conduct new hire orientation, safety and job training.
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, orders and supplies.
• Communicate with employees to resolve issues and empower success.
• Visit accounts to maintain relationships and ensure service quality.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to maximize satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for new work orders and potential upsell.
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed and recorded.
• Spend time at accounts to support achieving customer expectations.
