Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service within budget.

You will manage scheduling, training, performance reviews, and communication with clients, while maintaining safety and standards across accounts. This role requires leadership, bilingual ability (preferred), and a commitment to exceptional service in a fast-paced facilities environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel; manage hiring and performance reviews.
• Understand and promote company values and culture.
• Assign duties, inspect work, and ensure quality service.
• Prepare schedules and manage labor budget.
• Conduct safety and job training for hourly staff.
• Complete required paperwork and records.
• Communicate with customers and visit accounts to ensure satisfaction.
• Resolve problems to maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Monitor accounts for additional work and contract opportunities.
• Ensure site quality control visits are completed and recorded.
• Support accounts at locations to meet customer needs.
