Job summary

Stord, a leader in comprehensive commerce-enablement technology and high-volume fulfillment, seeks an Area Manager II to lead warehouse operations in Kentucky. You will guide a team of associates and leaders, coordinate with HR, Safety, and Customer Service, and drive results through structured planning and problem solving.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years in WMS/warehouse roles, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to manage workload under pressure in a fast-paced DC

Qualifications

• Two to four years’ experience in warehouse/WMS environments.
• Proven leadership experience.
• Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Work closely with support staff (HR, Safety, Customer Service, Other Ops Leaders) to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting functional area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency mechanisms.
• Utilize workload planning tools and other resources to complete scheduled workload ensuring orders are fulfilled to meet standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
