Job summary

Stord is hiring an Area Manager to lead a warehouse team and drive accurate inventory management across high-volume operations in the United States. You will coordinate with HR, Safety, and Customer Service to meet daily goals and uphold quality standards while applying process improvements.

The role requires leadership, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work overtime as needed in a distribution center environment. Proficiency with WMS and data entry is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience with WMS/inventory systems in a high-volume facility
• Prior leadership experience
• Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience; basic clerical and data entry skills
• Strong organizational and time-management skills; drive tasks to completion
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to interact with all levels of management and support teams
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs and perform basic math
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Able to build solid working relationships and work under pressure

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to deliver on daily goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service, and other Ops leads to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues affecting the department.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency measures.
• Use workload planning tools to complete schedules and fulfill orders to standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances.
• Perform to quality standards in multiple functions.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
