Job summary

Stord is hiring an Area Manager II to lead a warehouse team in a high-volume distribution center. You will drive daily goals, collaborate with support teams, and implement efficiency improvements. A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience is required, with 2–4 years in WMS/inventory roles and strong leadership abilities.

Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs, perform basic math, and communicate effectively at all levels. The role may include non-standard hours and overtime as business demands.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years' experience with WMS/inventory in high-volume facility.
• Leadership experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
• Clerical and data entry skills.
• Strong organizational/time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and perform basic math.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts).
• Work in a distribution center with varying conditions and hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of warehouse associates and operations leads to meet daily goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Safety, Customer Service and other Ops leaders to drive results.
• Address operational and personnel issues within the area.
• Implement process improvements and workload efficiency measures.
• Use workload planning tools to ensure orders are fulfilled to standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and variances; maintain quality standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
