Job summary

ShipBob, Inc. is seeking an Area Manager, Fulfillment Operations in Moreno Valley, CA to lead ICQA and inventory control initiatives within our Innovation Center.

You will build and guide a team of associates, drive process improvements, and ensure a safe, efficient operation aligned with performance targets. You will run shifts, report on KPIs, and collaborate with multiple teams to optimize inventory accuracy and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of people management and operational leadership experience within a high-volume 3PL fulfillment environment.
• Ability to manage performance, deliver feedback, train and develop talent for professional growth.
• Strong analytical skills and experience tracking and achieving KPIs.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Run a daily standup meeting at the start of the shift, using data to determine tasks for ICQA associates.
• Track ICQA associate task progress and follow up with training where necessary.
• Produce weekly reports detailing issues that could lead to lost inventory and report to the General Manager.
• Provide feedback to the SCO team on new processes or tools to improve inventory control.
• Ensure quick and accurate response to Jira tickets raised by the Merchant Care team, coordinating with operations.
• Maintain KPI targets: complete tasks, minimize lost inventory credits, resolve Jira tickets per SLA, research missing inventory within 24 hours.
• Oversee site hazard and risk analysis and maintain product traceability and safety conformance.
• Additional duties as necessary.
