Job summary

ShipBob is hiring an Area Manager, B2B, in North Aurora, IL, to lead and develop a 50+ warehouse team across shifts. You will drive process improvements, safety, and culture while reporting on key metrics like VCPO, UPH, and on-time performance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of people management in high-volume settings, a business/ops degree, and strong analytical skills with Lean/Six Sigma familiarity. Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work rotating hours.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of people management and operations leadership in high-volume environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field.
• Strong analytical skills with KPI tracking.
• Lean and Six Sigma understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage, build, and develop a team of 50+ warehouse associates.
• Review weekly forecasts and determine productivity requirements to meet objectives.
• Partner with other Area Managers to balance labor across shifts.
• Own operational metric reporting (VCPO, UPH, OPH, on-time receiving/shipping).
• Ensure teams are trained on processes and understand metrics and goals; provide coaching.
• Develop Lead talent and foster engagement onsite.
