Job summary

CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking an Area Manager for an electrical solutions provider serving the Central Texas market. This hands-on growth role requires leadership to drive new business and manage a local sales and branch team focused on mission-critical electrical spaces, OEMs, integrators, and end users.

Engage with customers, oversee P&L, and cultivate supplier relationships while leading a high-performing local operation toward profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Experience selling electrical products or solutions into OEM and mission-critical markets.
• Strong new business development and hunting experience.
• Experience selling to OEMs, integrators, and end users.
• Familiarity with project-driven electrical requirements and bills of materials.

Responsibilities

• Develop new sales opportunities throughout the Central Texas market.
• Build and grow relationships with OEMs, integrators, and mission-critical end users.
• Lead the local outside sales, inside sales, and branch operations team.
• Spend the majority of prime selling hours meeting with customers and developing new business.
• Manage local P&L performance and drive profitable growth.
• Develop and maintain supplier relationships.
• Hold the team accountable for execution and performance.
• Support the continued growth of the local operation.
• Manage performance around gross profit, margin, accounts receivable, and inventory.
