Diversified Maintenance is seeking an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure customer satisfaction through high-quality service delivered on time and within budget. The role requires leadership, scheduling, training, and strong communication with customers and staff.

The position involves coordinating with site teams, reviewing performance, and maintaining safety and quality standards while supporting growth opportunities for the accounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum two years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business-level English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial personnel and conduct performance appraisals.
• Champion company values and people culture within the team.
• Assign duties, inspect work quality, and ensure timely completion within budget.
• Conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff.
• Prepare time sheets, work orders, and training records.
• Foster open communication and coach employees for success.
• Maintain relationships with customers and ensure high service quality.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and escalate where needed.
• Monitor accounts for new work opportunities and contract expansions.
• Ensure QA site visits are completed and documented.
