Job summary

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to supervise janitorial staff across assigned sites. You’ll ensure quality service and customer satisfaction while keeping operations within budget. Daily duties include staffing, training, scheduling, and reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management experience in a service-related industry
• Business level English (read, write, and speak)
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lead and encourage teamwork; resolve conflicts effectively
• Experience in janitorial or facilities maintenance is a plus

Responsibilities

• Oversee janitorial staff at assigned sites and ensure quality service
• Maintain customer satisfaction by delivering timely services within budget
• Schedule work and allocate tasks within labor budget
• conduct new hire orientation and safety training for hourly staff
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, and work orders
• Build strong relationships with customers through regular site visits
• Address customer concerns promptly and ensure issue resolution
• Monitor sites for additional work opportunities and contract expansion
• Ensure Quality Control site visits are completed and documented
• Support account locations to meet customer needs
