Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Area Manager to oversee janitorial staff at assigned sites. You will ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality service within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities include staffing decisions, supervising work quality, safety training, and maintaining strong client relationships. A proven track record in service management and effective communication is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience in a service-related industry.
• Business level English communication, written and spoken.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
• Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Select and place janitorial staff; handle hiring decisions and performance appraisals; coach for improvement.
• Promote and embody company principles, values and culture.
• Assign duties, inspect cleanliness, and ensure quality service.
• Plan work procedures and schedules within labor budget.
• Lead new hire orientation and safety/job training.
• Prepare and review time sheets, reports, training records and orders.
• Maintain open communication; coach and counsel employees.
• Visit accounts regularly to build customer relationships and quality service.
• Resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
• Document contacts and follow up to resolve issues.
• Monitor accounts for new work opportunities.
• Complete and log all QC site visits.
• Visit sites to support outcomes and customer needs.
