BKF Engineers, Inc. seeks an Area Lead - Transportation Design to oversee and grow our transportation design services in Northern California. You will guide market strategy, lead major pursuits, and ensure high-quality project delivery across offices while aligning with regional goals.

Responsibilities include shaping pipeline development, managing client relationships, and mentoring engineering teams to deliver complex highway, municipal, transit, and airport projects. Travel may be required.

Formación

• Minimum 12 years of experience in engineering with project management.
• Proven success in business development and client management.
• Established relationships with Northern California transportation agencies.
• Demonstrated success leading major transportation projects.

Responsabilidades

• Own and execute the market strategy in Northern California, managing pipeline, pursuits, and backlog.
• Lead major transportation pursuits including highway, municipal, transit, and airports.
• Serve as primary BKF Transportation contact with agency executives and early procurement planning.
• Oversee day-to-day operations across offices and ensure policy adherence.
• Maintain client relationships to grow work and opportunities.
• Mentor staff and develop talent across offices.
