Job summary

HELP in Cincinnati, OH is seeking an Area Human Resources Generalist to support onboarding, offboarding, employee records, and claims management across locations. This in-office role requires travel to Dayton, OH and the Home Office in Brea, CA, and emphasizes confidentiality, process improvement, and strong HR knowledge.

The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years in HR, proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and Paychex, and the ability to balance multiple tasks while providing exceptional employee

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar HR role.
• High School diploma required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Willingness to travel to Dayton, OH and Brea, CA.
• Experience with outside payroll providers (ADP/Paychex) and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee new hire orientation and onboarding for assigned brands and ensure setup in ADP.
• Provide basic HR support and answer employee questions; manage HR inbox and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate offboarding, finalize payroll, collect and return materials, and notify relevant parties.
• Create and update Payroll Change Notices in ADP Workforce Now and generate basic reports for site leaders.
• Collaborate with Fleet Manager on workers' comp and auto insurance claim support.
• Provide LOA information and direct leave requests to HR Partners/Leave Center.
