Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support the Employee Life Cycle and ensure compliant execution of HR processes. You will onboard new hires, manage recruiting, handle inquiries, and monitor morale and culture.

Responsibilities include benefits administration, background checks, policy development, orientation, and maintaining compliance with federal and state laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or a related field.
• Associate degree with related experience considered.
• 3-5 years of HR experience preferred.
• SHRM certification preferred.
• HR experience with FMLA, recruiting and HCM/HR systems preferred.
• Knowledge of laws and regulations governing HR functions.
• Knowledge of benefit administration.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse workforce.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform benefits administration including onboarding, open enrollment, and communicating benefits information.
• Coordinate the hiring process, including pre-employment background checks and communications.
• Develop and implement employee programs, policies, and systems with managers/leaders.
• Conduct new hire orientations and introduce core values and culture.
• Handle employment inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and review policies for compliance.
• Recruit, interview, and hire for open positions with managers.
• Keep updated on HR trends, regulations, and technology in HR.
