Job summary

Flagger Force is seeking an Area Supervisor to coach field staff, oversee pre-construction planning, and uphold safety and quality standards across designated areas. The role emphasizes building client relationships, travel to multiple job sites, and effective communication with Field Managers.

The position requires strong leadership and the ability to manage staff performance, along with DOT qualifications and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must pass Work Zone Leadership course with 80% or higher.

Responsibilities

• Manages a team of outside field personnel.
• Direct work to at least two or more other full-time employees.
• Establish and build relationships with direct reports through monthly job site visits.
• Responsible for conducting annual performance reviews and supporting employee development.
• Daily travel to job site locations; observations and reporting.
• Meet with Field Manager on daily/weekly basis to review performance and metrics.
• Complete and submit daily reporting by way of work zone observations.
• Professionally represent the organization to clients, employees and the public.
• Submission of HR requests and delivery of related discipline.
• Work collaboratively with other departments.
