Flagger Force, LLC is seeking an Area Supervisor in Tampa, FL to lead a field team, oversee pre-construction planning, and ensure safety and quality standards across sites.

The role emphasizes coaching, client relationships including DOT and municipal authorities, daily site travel, and performance reviews.

The candidate will collaborate with the Field Manager and other departments to deliver projects effectively while upholding company values.

Qualifications

• Must pass Work Zone Leadership course with 80% or higher
• Maintain internal training certifications through Flagger Force Academy
• Must hold all required Department of Transportation qualifications for assigned territory
• Valid driver's license in accordance with Flagger Force standards
• Strong verbal, written, analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
• Developed leadership and coaching abilities
• Familiarity with state/federal traffic control guidelines (MUTCD)

Responsibilities

• Leader of a field personnel team and direct work to multiple employees
• Establish and maintain client and DOT relationships within the designated area
• Oversee pre-construction planning, client meetings, and internal leads
• Conduct annual performance reviews and staff development
• Daily travel to job sites with observations and reporting
• Submit daily work zone observations and reports
• Assist safety team with incident investigations
• Coach crews and recommend field staff promotions
• Collaborate with Field Manager and other departments
