Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, driving a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong business results. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on leadership across locations.

You’ll own office readiness, staffing, compliance, and day-to-day operations, while traveling between offices to ensure in-person presence and consistent performance across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading multi-unit teams in retail/service.
• Strong client-centric mindset and consultative experience.
• Proven ability to drive business and financial results.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations across locations.
• Willingness to travel frequently between offices.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, coaching performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed performance and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, develop bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics and implement actions to improve results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices including staffing and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness, facilities, recruiting, onboarding for seasonal demand.
