Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices. You will ensure a consistent, high-quality client experience, set expectations for consultative service, and drive operational excellence.

As a hands-on leader, you’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, monitor performance, and build bench strength to deliver reliable results across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit retail/service/operations with accountable performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business and financial results across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the client experience across 4-6 offices, ensuring standards are followed.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations to reinforce strengths and close gaps.
• Lead adoption of new client experience processes, tools, and behaviors with visible leadership.
• Coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals to achieve consistent performance.
• Provide coaching using observed behaviors, performance data, and real-time feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and take actions to improve results, acquisition, and retention.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, and compliance.
• Oversee office readiness including facilities, equipment, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
