Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4-6 retail offices and deliver a consistently excellent client experience across locations. You’ll coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, drive operational readiness, staffing, and compliance, and champion data-driven improvements to grow revenue and client satisfaction while maintaining a hands-on leadership presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in a multi-unit environment with accountability for performance outcomes.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience driving business results across multiple locations, including labor management.
• Experience leading through change and adoption of new processes.
• Ability to manage competing demands with independent judgment.
• Experience with facilities, staffing, or compliance.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills; handles client escalations.
• Ability to travel frequently between offices.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4-6 offices.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes and tools.
• Lead teams by setting expectations and coaching for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching informed by observed behaviors and feedback.
• Identify patterns, address performance gaps, and build bench strength.
• Own revenue, growth, and business outcomes across offices.
• Monitor performance metrics and drive improvements.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing and compliance.
• Own office readiness, facilities, and onboarding for seasonal demand.
