Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Multi-Office Leader to oversee 4–6 retail offices, ensuring a consistent, high-quality client experience and strong operational execution. You will coach Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals, balance strategic oversight with in‑office presence, and drive revenue, performance, and readiness across offices.

You will lead teams, set clear expectations, and coach to consistent performance while adapting to seasonal demands and ensuring compliance and service

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years leading teams in multi-unit settings with performance accountability.
• Strong client-centric mindset with consultative experience.
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold teams accountable.
• Experience managing day-to-day operations across multiple locations (staffing, facilities, compliance).
• Ability to travel frequently across offices and work a schedule that includes evenings/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Own consistent delivery of the consultative client experience across 4–6 offices with disciplined execution.
• Evaluate execution quality and client impact across locations; reinforce strengths and address gaps.
• Drive adoption of new client experience processes, tools and behaviors.
• Lead Tax Professionals and Client Service Professionals; set expectations and coach for consistent performance.
• Provide coaching based on observed behavior and performance to strengthen teams.
• Identify patterns across offices and develop bench strength and talent.
• Own revenue, growth, and operational performance across offices.
• Monitor metrics, identify trends, and implement actions to improve business results.
• Ensure daily operations across offices, including staffing, scheduling, labor management, and compliance.
• Own office readiness including facilities, equipment, supplies, recruiting, onboarding, and seasonal preparation.
