Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an experienced Area Director to oversee IDD residential services across a multi-state region. Lead Area Managers and Directors, ensure high-quality, compliant services, and drive strategic growth aligned with person-centered care.

You will collaborate with state partners, families, and teams to optimize operations, budgets, staffing, and program performance while upholding Dungarvin’s mission and values across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field.
• Experience in residential IDD/DD services or similar.
• Leadership experience overseeing multiple programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Area Managers and Program Directors to ensure operational consistency across programs.
• Build relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders while representing Dungarvin.
• Oversee compliance with state regulations, licensing, and HCBS standards.
• Monitor budgets, staffing, and program performance to support financial health.
