Job summary

Dungarvin is seeking an Area Director to lead a regional portfolio of IDD Residential Services, shaping growth and stability across programs. You will coach and develop leaders, ensure effective operation, and drive person-centered programming with a focus on outcomes for individuals served.

Collaborate with area managers and state leadership to implement new processes, monitor performance, and maintain regulatory compliance while expanding the organization's footprint and impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field required.
• 5+ years of experience supporting individuals with IDD and overseeing residential services.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Indiana FSSA/BDDS requirements, HCBS/CIH and Medicaid Waiver programs, CMS standards.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Power BI dashboards and data to monitor trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional teams through coaching, accountability, talent development, recruitment, and retention.
• Lead through change by communicating transitions and ensuring adoption of new processes.
• Drive performance by monitoring budgets, staffing, expenses, and key KPIs.
• Champion quality and compliance, ensuring services meet regulatory and organizational standards.
