Job summary

Dungarvin in Indiana is seeking an Area Director for IDD Residential Services to oversee a regional portfolio of homes and programs. You will mentor managers, shape service delivery, and align operations with regulatory and quality standards to support people with IDD.

This leadership role emphasizes fiscal oversight, staff development, and collaboration with state agencies. You will champion person-centered practices while guiding growth across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field.
• 5+ years of experience supporting individuals with IDD/DD.
• 2+ years of progressive leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of Indiana FSSA/BDDS requirements, IDD services, HCBS/CIH and Medicaid Waiver programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft 365 and Power BI dashboards and data to monitor trends and outcomes.
• Valid driver’s license with driving record meeting agency insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop regional residential teams through coaching, accountability, talent development, recruitment and retention.
• Lead through change by guiding teams through transitions and promoting adoption of new processes.
• Drive performance by monitoring budgets, staffing, expenses and KPIs to improve program stability.
• Champion quality and compliance by ensuring services meet regulatory and licensing requirements.
