Job summary

WorleyParsons in Alaska is seeking a Project Architectural/Sheetmetal/Insulator Tech to support a remote, rotational construction assignment at Prudhoe Bay. The role involves fabricating, assembling, installing and repairing sheet metal and insulation systems on a one-year project, with meals and lodging provided on location.

Candidates should have hands-on fabrication experience, ability to read mechanical drawings and P&IDs, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years advanced layout and fabrication of sheet metal and insulation components.
• Two (2) years of industrial facility experience.
• Equipment certification within 90 days of start date (e.g., man lift, scissor lift).
• Valid driver’s license preferred (insurance eligibility).
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Responsibilities

• Fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs sheet metal and insulation products per blueprints and instructions.
• Sets up and operates fabrication machines (shears, brakes, punches) to cut and shape sheet metal.
• Inspects installations for conformance to specifications and codes using measuring instruments.
