Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking experienced Scaffold/Line Lift Technicians to support Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) operations at the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska's North Slope. The Scaffold/Line Lift Technician provides field leadership and coordinates daily activities to ensure safe, productive work execution.

This role involves hands-on labor, mentoring Insulation Technicians, and collaboration with operators, Leads, Inspectors, and other contractors in a demanding industrial environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• NSTC training completed.
• Minimum 2 years of CUI experience in oil & gas.
• Current Asbestos Abatement Certification (Alaska).
• Current AHERA Building Inspector Certification (Alaska).
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.
• Ability to wear respirator and work in demanding conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership and coordinate daily tasks for safe, efficient work.
• Perform asbestos abatement on process piping per regulations.
• Submit chain-of-custody for RACM materials per Alaska requirements.
• Submit Daily Compliance Logs for stripping activities as required.
• Erect and dismantle non-engineered Systems Scaffold and construct temporary supports.
• Coordinate with ConocoPhillips operators, CUI Leads, Inspectors, and other contractors.
