Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced Scaffold/Line Lift Technician to support Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) operations at Alaska's North Slope. This role provides field leadership, coordinates daily activities, mentors Insulation Technicians, and ensures safety, productivity, and quality in a demanding industrial setting.

You will work closely with ConocoPhillips operators, CUI Leads, Inspectors, and other contractors, performing line lifts, scaffolding, insulation tasks, and related field

Qualifications

• NSTC training completed.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Minimum of 2 years of CUI experience in the oil and gas industry.
• North Slope experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of practical experience using hand and power tools.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a physically demanding position.
• Current Asbestos Abatement Certification through the State of Alaska.
• Current Building Inspector AHERA Certification through the State of Alaska.
• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken and written English.
• Ability to perform job duties while wearing a half-face or full-face respirator.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide field leadership and coordinate daily tasks to ensure safe, efficient, and productive work execution.
• Mentor and support Insulation Technicians through on-the-job training, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
• Perform asbestos abatement on process piping in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Review project plans and schedules and ensure necessary tools, equipment, materials, and resources are available before work begins.
• Collaborate with HAK Inspectors to plan daily work scopes with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and quality.
