Job summary

MISTRAS Group is seeking an experienced Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) Support Lead to back field operations at the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska’s North Slope. You will lead CUI technicians, coordinate safety, and oversee field activities to ensure safe and compliant execution.

The role combines field leadership with safety oversight, administrative duties, and operational coordination, requiring strong communication with crews, inspectors, and management on a rotational North Slope schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), NDT, inspection, industrial services, or a related field.
• Previous field leadership, crew lead, supervisory, or coordination experience.
• Strong understanding of workplace safety requirements and field safety practices.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, industrial environment.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to travel and work a rotational North Slope schedule.

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture and ensure crew members follow safety standards.
• Serve as a safety leader ensuring all work complies with policies and regulations.
• Collaborate with Coordinators and Inspector personnel to support field operations.
• Expedite tools, materials, PPE, and resources to the field to maximize productivity.
• Spend about 50% of the workday in the field providing hands-on support.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, training, and on-the-job support to technicians.
