MISTRAS Group, Inc. is seeking an Insulation Technician to support Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI) initiatives at the Kuparuk River Unit on Alaska’s North Slope.

The role provides hands‑on labor for insulation removal and installation, asbestos abatement, scaffolding, and related maintenance while collaborating with CUI Specialists and Scaffold/Line Lift Technicians. Candidates must complete NSTC training, hold Alaska asbestos abatement certification, possess a high school diploma, a valid

Qualifications

• Must have NSTC training and Alaska asbestos abatement certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum 1 year erecting/dismantling Systems Scaffold.
• Minimum 2 years using hand and power tools.
• Ability to work in remote industrial environments on North Slope schedules.

Responsibilities

• Perform asbestos abatement on process piping per regulations.
• Erect and dismantle non-engineered Systems Scaffold.
• Assist with insulation removal and installation.
• Support line lifts using airbags, lift jacks, rigging and cranes.
• Maintain safety, quality, and compliance on all tasks.
