Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must pass State of Alaska background check and obtain the Alaska Guard License prior to starting.
• Ability to cooperate with a team and work with employees, customers, and clients.
• Ability to make quick decisions with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to stand 8–12 hours per shift and be safety oriented.
• Must read, write, and understand English and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Monitor assigned areas visually or electronically and de-escalate situations when needed.
• Ensure safety compliance and secure doors, windows, and areas.
• Report property damage and unusual incidents per policy.
• Assist in events, setup, and clinic preparations.
• Notify supervisors of visitors and respond to emergencies to protect life and property.
• May issue and record ID badges and check building systems for operability.
• On-call work outside normal hours may be required.
