Job summary

Worley is seeking a skilled pipe welder for a remote Arctic project with an estimated one-year duration. The role includes welding piping systems and components on location, with meals and lodging provided and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay arranged by the company.

The position requires 3–5 years of pipe welding experience, passing FCAW/GTAW/SMAW tests, and a valid driver's license. NSTC certification training may be provided by Worley.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years’ experience pipe welding in an industrial environment.
• Required to pass FCAW, GTAW and SMAW pipe weld tests upon offer.
• Valid driver’s license including ability to be insured by Worley’s auto insurer.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• NSTC certification training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Constructs, maintains, and modifies piping systems and process equipment by welding of pipe, flanges and fittings to meet codes and client requirements.
• Measures pipe routing and drafts pipe configuration.
• Perform repair, prep, grinding and re-weld procedures on pipe to meet welding codes.
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs cleanup and housekeeping.
