Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Pipefitter Helper/Roustabout for a remote/arctic construction project at Prudhoe Bay, AK. The role supports journeymen in welding-related setup and execution, with duties including layout, cutting, and preparation of materials.

The assignment is a one-year rotation with meals and lodging provided on location. Candidate must have a high school diploma or GED; NSTC certification is available through Worley.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NSTC certification training highly regarded; Worley can provide NSTC certification.
• Valid driver’s license preferred and may be insured by Worley insurer.

Responsibilities

• Assist journeymen in setup and execution of welding-related tasks.
• Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions; prepare surfaces for welding.
• Operate welding machines and cutting equipment; assist with chipping and grinding.
• Maintain proper material tagging and shop clean-up duties.
• Perform fire watch and heater attendant duties as needed.
