Job summary

Worley seeks a Project Pipefitter Helper/Roustabout for a long-term construction project in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The role supports journeymen with setup and welding-related tasks on a difficult Arctic site.

Expect 84-hour weeks, meals and lodging provided, and transport between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay. Requirements include two years of oilfield or petrochemical maintenance/construction experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Two years of oilfield or petrochemical plant maintenance and/or construction experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• NSTC certification training may be provided by Worley.
• Graduate of Alaska secondary trade school is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies.
• Lay out, measure, and mark dimensions on material.
• Prepare surfaces for welding and select appropriate welding methods.
• Set up cutting equipment and adjust welding machines.
• Assist with cutting, beveling, and finishing metal parts per blueprints.
