Job summary

Worley seeks a Heavy Crane Mechanic for a remote, rotational role in Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will maintain and repair hydraulic and lattice boom cranes and related heavy equipment in a demanding Arctic environment.

The position features an 84-hour week with meals and lodging on site, transportation from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay, and a focus on safety and reliability in oilfield service equipment.

Qualifications

• Five years of mobile crane mechanic experience.
• Three years of heavy equipment maintenance experience or an associate degree/certification in diesel or heavy equipment technology.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• NSTC certification training or willingness to obtain NSTC certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain hydraulic and lattice boom cranes and related heavy equipment.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment using hoists, hand tools and pneumatic/electric tools.
• Work on engines, hydraulic and electrical systems and subassemblies such as transmissions and differentials.
• Test overhauled equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
• Perform duties in shop or in field as necessary.
• Self-motivation and prioritization of repairs.
