Job summary

Worley in Prudhoe Bay, AK is seeking a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for an on-site role with a remote/rotational schedule. The position involves maintenance and repair of heavy and light equipment in a challenging Arctic environment.

The role offers meals and lodging on location, with transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay provided. You will work with diverse heavy machinery and participate in safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Five years of heavy equipment maintenance experience or an associated degree/certification with two years of experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• NSTC certification training available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, repair, rebuild and provide maintenance of heavy and light equipment.
• Dismantle, repair and reassemble equipment using hoists, hand tools and pneumatic/electric tools.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
• Work on engines, hydraulic/electrical systems and subassemblies such as transmissions/differentials.
• Routinely perform safety and productivity observations in shop and field.
• Operate Worley/client light/medium duty vehicles when required.
• Climb ladders of various heights safely.
