Job summary

Worley seeks an experienced heavy equipment technician for a remote/rotational role in Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will maintain and repair PACCAR and other heavy equipment, both in shop and in the field, with a demanding 84-hour work week and significant overtime.

On-location meals and lodging are provided, and Worley arranges transport between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay. Candidates should have 5+ years of maintenance experience or an associated degree, plus NSTC certification training availability.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of heavy equipment maintenance experience or an associate degree or certification from an accredited diesel/heavy equipment technology program with two (2) years of heavy equipment maintenance experience required.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to be covered by Worley auto insurer.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC). Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and rebuild PACCAR equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain equipment including tractors, water, vac, and fuel trucks.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using hoists, hand tools, and pneumatic/electric tools.
• Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance.
• Work on engines, hydraulic and electrical systems, and subassemblies such as transmissions and differentials.
• Routinely perform safety and productivity observations in shop and field.
• Perform duties in shop or in field as necessary.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
