Job summary

Worley is seeking a Non-Mobile Mechanic for Prudhoe Bay, AK, on a three weeks on/three weeks off rotation. The role focuses on the maintenance and repair of light oilfield equipment in remote arctic conditions.

You will diagnose faults, perform preventive maintenance, and service typical GSE with safety as a priority. Lodging and meals are provided on location; travel between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is arranged.

Qualifications

• At least three years’ experience or formal training as a non-mobile or GSE mechanic in oilfield/construction industries.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer.
• NSTC certification training is available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of typical light oilfield and construction equipment at journeyman level.
• Inspect, diagnose, disassemble, repair and reassemble equipment as required.
• Work on fuel, electrical, hydraulic and drive-train systems with common trade tools.
• Routinely operate Worley/client light/medium duty vehicles.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights and work in harsh environments.
