Job summary

Worley in Prudhoe Bay, AK seeks a Heavy Crane Mechanic for a remote/rotational role. The job involves maintaining hydraulic and lattice boom cranes and heavy equipment on the North Slope, with an 84-hour weekly schedule (40h straight time, 44h overtime).

Meals and lodging are provided, and transportation from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay is included. Excellent diagnostics, crane theory, hydraulics, and Cummins electronics knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of mobile crane mechanic experience.
• Three (3) years of heavy equipment maintenance or relevant certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance eligibility.
• NSTC certification training available if needed.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain hydraulic and lattice boom cranes and related heavy equipment.
• Dismantle, repair, and reassemble equipment using hoists and power tools.
• Work on engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and moveables like transmissions/differentials.
• Test equipment after service to ensure efficiency and reliability.
• Perform duties in both shop and field environments as required.
• Prioritize repairs and maintain maintenance records.
