Job summary

Worley seeks a skilled GSE mechanic for a remote Arctic assignment in Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will perform routine maintenance and repair of light oilfield and construction equipment, diagnose defects, and service fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train systems while operating field vehicles.

The role features a three-week-on/three-week-off rotation with an 84-hour work week, meals and lodging provided on location, and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of preventative maintenance for power generation and non-mobile equipment.
• Knowledge of lubrication procedures for equipment in heavy construction/oilfield.
• Ability to maintain equipment maintenance records.
• Ability to communicate safety warnings and assignments.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Ability to read schematics and technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of light oilfield and construction equipment at journeyman level.
• Operate and inspect equipment to diagnose defects and reassemble as required.
• Work on fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and drive-train systems with common shop tools.
• Routinely operate Worley/client light/medium duty vehicles.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
