Job summary

AKDO is seeking an Architectural Account Executive for our New York City showroom. You will manage an established portfolio of architectural and design accounts, working with architects and designers to drive specifications and sales of AKDO’s luxury stone, tile and mosaic collections.

You will meet clients, present products, and maintain relationships to grow revenue, with base salary plus monthly commissions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of B2B sales or account management experience.
• Experience working with architects, interior designers, or other trade professionals preferred.
• Natural stone, tile, or luxury building materials experience is a plus.
• Strong relationship-building, presentation, and communication skills.
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple accounts and projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of architectural and design accounts.
• Schedule and conduct regular client appointments, including office visits and product presentations.
• Maintain regular communication with existing clients to identify projects and sales opportunities.
• Assist clients with product selections, samples, and specifications for projects.
• Follow up on meetings, sample requests, quotations, and active projects to secure business.
• Maintain client information and sales activity in the CRM system.
• Achieve monthly and annual sales goals with an active sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure exceptional client service and timely project support.
• Attend industry events to strengthen client relationships.
