Job summary

Architessa in Atlanta seeks an A&D Sales Representative to expand commercial tile business by building trusted relationships with architects, designers, owners, and contractors. You will drive specifications, opportunities from concept to purchase, and deliver Architessa’s Concierge Service with technical expertise and curated products.

The role emphasizes field presence, Salesforce discipline, collaboration with Inside Sales, and ownership of the client experience from discovery to project

Qualifications

• Consultative commercial sales, relationship development, prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Understanding of architecture and design specification process and commercial bidding.
• Ability to interpret tile and surface applications and material characteristics.
• Clear verbal and written communication, including presentations.
• Strong organization, prioritization, judgment, problem-solving, and independence in the field.
• Comfort using Salesforce or another CRM, Microsoft 365, virtual meeting tools, and mobile tech.
• Ability to build productive relationships across departments and geographies.
• Valid driver's license and travel within the territory; occasional meetings outside.

Responsibilities

• Research and prioritize firms, decision-makers, project influencers, and purchasing partners within the assigned territory.
• Build long-term relationships through office visits, calls, virtual meetings, showroom appointments, events, and follow-up.
• Maintain a practical route and account plan; adjust rankings based on activity and relationships.
• Complete a minimum of 15 account visits per week.
• Develop new business while deepening relationships; ask for current projects and referrals.
• Represent Architessa at industry associations, trade events, CEUs, and related events.
• Discover the client’s design intent, performance needs, budget, quantity, schedule, and sustainability requirements.
• Curate tile, stone, and surface solutions using Architessa’s network and resources.
• Secure complete specifications including item, color, size, finish, application, quantity, alternates, and buying path.
• Own the follow-up; coordinate with Inside Sales on samples, quotations, leads, and approvals.
