Job summary

ECS Group of Companies seeks an experienced Specification Writer to join our Southwest Facilities team in San Antonio, TX. You will guide design teams on product selection, prepare and edit construction specifications, and ensure compliance with codes throughout all project phases.

The role requires a detail-oriented professional with a solid background in architecture or construction and strong technical expertise in specifications writing.

Qualifications

• Requires 6 years of related architectural or commercial interiors experience.
• Familiarity with AIA MasterFormat - 3 part specifications is preferred.
• CSI CDT Certification is a plus; CCS, LEED AP, or licensed Architect/Engineer is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with management of specification projects and resolve technical/administrative issues.
• Guide design teams on product selection and design considerations.
• Write and edit specifications for projects and coordinate compliance with codes and project requirements.
