ECS Southwest, LLP is seeking an experienced Specification Writer to join our Southwest Facilities team in Austin, TX. You will guide design teams on product selection, prepare and edit construction specifications, and coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phases.

This role targets a detail-oriented professional with strong background in architecture or construction, and expertise in writing specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bacholor's degree in Architecture or related field preferred.
• 6 years of related architectural or commercial interiors experience.
• CSI membership; CDT certification is a plus; CCS, LEED AP, or a licensed Architect/Engineer a plus.
• Valid driver's license required for ECS subsidiaries.

Responsabilités

• Guide design teams on product selection and prepare/edit construction specifications.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants across project phases.
• Write and edit specifications; ensure compliance with codes and standards.
