Job summary

Rugby Architectural Building Products, a wholesale distributor with 26 branches across the United States, is seeking a Specification Representative to promote our non-structural architectural lumber and related products to architects, designers, contractors and other industry professionals.

In a hybrid role, you will split time between the local branch, remote work, and extensive field travel to call on A&D firms, deliver compelling presentations, and develop project specifications that drive

• Experience selling to architects and design professionals.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to develop product specifications.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell our products to architects, designers, contractors and industry professionals.
• Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers to drive sales.
• Collaborate with specifiers to identify project requirements and tailor solutions.
• Create presentations and demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
• Submit accurate product specifications for project plans.
• Conduct site visits, attend trade shows, and network to build brand awareness.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
• Gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvements.
