Job summary

Senneca is seeking an Architectural Specification Representative to build strong relationships with architects, designers, engineers, and specifiers across multiple territories in the US. The role focuses on increasing product awareness and securing specifications for Stylecraft, Chase, Eliason, and HMF Express.

It is a specification sales / business development position within the commercial building products industry.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience in specification sales, architectural sales, or technical sales.
Familiarity with the Architecture & Design community and drawings.
Proven outbound prospecting and relationship development skills.
Excellent presentation, communication, listening, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with architects, specifiers, designers, engineers, and internal sales teams.
Promote products through lunch-and-learn presentations, customer visits, and educational programs.
Drive specification growth for Stylecraft, Chase, Eliason, and HMF Express products.
Identify and secure product specifications in architectural and design firm projects.
Manage product substitution requests and approval processes with Territory Managers and distributors.
Provide technical expertise on product selection, applications, performance, and codes.
