dormakaba Americas is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative for the Washington, DC area. You will promote the North American portfolio to architectural firms, design-build firms, and government architects in a primarily sales role.

The position requires building long-term relationships with architects, pursuing project pipelines, and networking within industry associations. Travel up to 50% is expected, with a comprehensive benefits package and a performance-based compensation component.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree + 3+ years of relevant experience or 6+ years with HS diploma
• CDT and DHC certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months
• Travel up to 50%+ within territory
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal/external stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships with architects and lead specification managers
• Develop short- and long-term project pipelines to pursue with architectural firms
• Network within architectural firms via CSI & DHI and other networks
• Collaborate with local territory team to ensure coverage for completed specifications
