Job summary
dormakaba Americas is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative remotely based in the continental United States. You will influence project specifications by engaging architects, consultants, and design firms early in the lifecycle, ensuring dormakaba products are specified into projects to improve win probability and pipeline quality.
The role offers base salary between $75,000 and $95,000 plus a generous incentive, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for career growth
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in architectural specification sales or building products sales.
- Experience working with architects, engineers, spec writers, and security consultants.
- Strong knowledge of Division 08 and construction standards.
- Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce and HubSpot.
Responsibilities
- Engage architects and consultants to position dormakaba products in project specifications
- Influence “basis of design” decisions early in project lifecycle
- Build and maintain relationships with architectural and engineering firms
- Identify projects where competitors are specified and influence redesign or substitution
- Identify and track projects from early design through construction
