Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Group is seeking an Architectural Consultant in Riverside County, CA. The role focuses on selling door opening solutions through Openings Studio BIM software, advising architects and designers, and driving specifications and education for the project pipeline.

You will cultivate relationships with design teams, prepare door specs, and provide accurate product information while leveraging Salesforce to track projects and activities. Travel up to 80% is required.

Qualifications

College/university degree or 2-3 years industry experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
CRM tools for sales and activity reporting.
Working knowledge of industry software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cultivate strategic relationships with architectural design team influencers and specifiers.
Identify and secure opportunities to prepare door and hardware specifications.
Provide timely and accurate product information for use in commercial project specifications.
Deliver continuing educational programs highlighting new products, solutions, and design-assist professional services.
Assist with product substitution and approval procedures and ensure specs are held in bid process.
Utilize Salesforce.com as a customer relationship, project tracking and time management tool.
